The YD25 engine used a double row fuel pump chain

The YD25 engine used a double row fuel pump chain until 2012 when it was changed to a single row. This kit converts your euro 3 and Euro 4 YD25 DDTi D40 and to the original duplex system with correct fuel and vacuum pump sprockets and chains. This will ensure your new chain has maximum longevity.

When changing your chain we recommend replacing the upper and lower cam sprockets as well. Worn sprockets can cause premature wear and premature snapping of the new chain. Our sprockets are made from quality Australian CNC machined 4140 Chrome Moly to a much more accurate fit than the original OEM sprockets.

This will ensure proper chain running alignment between the fuel and vacuum pump sprockets. This is critical to the longevity of the new chain as incorrect alignment causes the chain to have an uneven load which can lead to premature failure. Our kit includes a new flat faced vacuum pump sprocket which is far superior to the worn OEM sprocket that comes with the single row Nissan kit. Using the old vacuum pump sprocket on a new chain voids the chain and sprocket warranty.
